My philosophy is pretty simple: Live life to the

fullest and pursue your passions. For me, life is

about stories and connection; love, life, loss and the search for self.

I was raised by my paternal grandparents and began taking writing seriously in sixth grade.

    I tried writing every genre as an adolescent - horror, romance, mainstream, but didn’t finish a whole manuscript until I wrote THE STORK REALITY based on my anxieties about becoming a mother when I was 25. It took three pregnancies (and adorable, squawling -squawking + bawling - babies) and many revisions to make that book happen.   

Since then, I’ve been writing about women and their amazing journeys as I live my own. I’m also working on a young adult novel, my first fantasy, and a series of “little brand” guide books, so I’ll keep you posted.

I’m very grateful for my family and friends for putting up with a girl who lives in her head and fantasy land, and for the readers who make my dreams come true.

I also work to promote reading and friendship at www.BookEndBabes.com and have started a multimedia brand Buzz Books, with my husband, editor and writer, Rod Lott to publish (print, ebooks and audiobooks) several passion projects of ours as well as other writers. My novella LIFE’S A BEACH was the first project and will be followed by SLEIGH RIDE, a winter anthology with seven authors, a non-fiction branding series for businesses beginning with THE LITTLE BRAND THAT COULD, and Rod’s “best of” humor anthology.
